Tuesdays with Michael

This morning, I took Michael to the mall so we could spend the morning having fun and I could get some exercise. I told him he could ride in the red car, which is really a glorified stroller. The concierge station was closed but the red cars were sitting there, so we took one for a stroll.

Michael enjoyed the stroll, but when I finally saw someone at the station, I went over and told them we'd taken one. They seemed a little frustrated, so as we were nearly done, I gave it back to them and thanked them. But I kept thinking, this mall opens at 6:30 a.m., why do we have to wait until 10:00 a.m. to use a mall stroller? That sounds silly.

Next Michael jumped on a trampoline with bungee cords, we took our usual tour of the escalators, then hit the arcade to play the dance game. By the time we got to the car, my little boy was tired.

Tonight, I'm trying Fiona's new recipe for Low Fat Cornmeal-Crusted Chicken. Sounds good, especially since cumin is one of the ingredients.

If you haven't tried Sweet Potato Fries , next time you're at the store, pick up a few sweet potatoes. I must need the Vitamin A in them, because they were so good last night, I'm making more tonight.

Until tomorrow,

DeAnne
