Cleaning the Fridge

This weekend, I went crazy and gave the fridge a good cleaning. It's amazing how many jars of pickles one family can have. And they were all the same brand! Many refrigerators are packed with outdated or spoiled food. These jars get pushed to the back and become scary and hairy. It was just time to face it.

I'm making a beefy low fat burger tonight. Check out what Fiona says about making a low fat burger. I might even add a slice of low fat American cheese and sauteed onions. Yum. I'm making sweet potato fries to go with it. I will need to keep an eye on portion sizes here!

While cleaning, I found a liter bottle of diet cola in the back and I've been hitting it pretty hard, so my water intake has suffered. What could be so addictive about something that eats your teeth? I could see if it had sugar, but I'm drinking the diet stuff.

Tomorrow I will attempt to take my son to the mall so I can walk. I want to get one of those cars that's really a stroller and see if he'll stay in it. I'm probably dreaming, but I'll try it and have a Plan B just in case.

Plan B: Promise him he can ride the elevators and play in the arcade if he rides in the car.

Plan C: Come home and promise to never put myself through that again. And ride the exercise bike.
