Low Fat Ice Cream A Hit

Tuesday night's dinner consisted of spaghetti with meat sauce made with ground turkey. Since this was our usual recipe, the kids ate it up. But as the low fat ice cream was dished out, I watched for the kids to push their bowls away.

But they loved it! Per Fiona's guidelines, I watched portion sizes , especially with Claire and myself. She is a little overweight and I want to model better portions for her, so she will catch up to her weight. She loves chocolate, anything chocolate, with chocolate on top. Michael likes vanilla ice cream and can spot a fake. So the low fat ice cream was a big success!

I'll be having leftover spaghetti for lunch today, but tonight's dinner plans include Baked Zesty Tilapia with rice and glazed carrots. I usually bake tilapia with olive oil, garlic and salt, so this will be new for me. Have yourself a healthy happy dinner, make your body well. DeAnne
