Low Fat Cooking New Year's Resolutions Blog by DeAnne

My Own Study

I'm doing my own study on the effects of a low fat diet on post-menopausal women, and I'm the guinea pig. In case you didn't know, I am post-menopausal.

So here are my findings:

  • I feel better physically
  • I am mentally sharper
  • My stomach feels better
  • My skin looks better
  • My mood is better

I personally think it only makes sense that lowering the fat in your diet will help you. Sure, I'm not a doctor, so my advice should not be taken as medical advice. But I've eaten BAD stuff for long periods of time and I know what that does to me.

I'm craving a seafood buffet, so I'm baking a catfish fillet with a little seasoned salt, whipping up some Tuna and Rice to last the weekend, and having a shrimp cocktail. But I need to run to the grocery store first.

Have a great weekend!
