I Eat Low Fat Because ...
For one thing I have high cholesterol. Unfortunately it is inherited so it's even harder to manage. I do take a prescribed medicine that helps, but I have found that eating low fat, low cholesterol meals helps me to lower the bad numbers and raise the good numbers. I am overweight also so creating low fat meals that are tasty but healthy is something I enjoy doing.
I want to feel better and look better. This is my goal for 2010.
How Do You Eat Low Fat?
First of all I use olive oil and grape seed oil when I cook. Though they are fats they are good fats. I eat all natural low fat dressings for my salad and reduced fat cheese and sour cream. I refuse to give up everything I like so by using the lower fat products allows me to enjoy the foods I like.
Advice
- Eat veggies with lemon juice instead, try low fat Italian dressing on a baked potato. Eat fresh products before you buy canned. Chicken breasts vs. dark meat, etc...
