Ingredients:
- 1 3-ounce bag of popcorn
- 3/4 cup candy corn
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 10.5 ounce bag mini marshmallows
- red and yellow food coloring to make orange (optional)
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- nonstick cooking spray
Preparation:
Line a large baking tray with wax paper or parchment.Pop popcorn in microwave according to the package/microwave instructions. Empty popped popcorn into a large bowl, weeding out unpopped kernels if you can.
Add candy corn to bowl and mix.
Gently melt butter in a large saucepan. Add mini marshmallows and melt on low heat for 6-8 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in food coloring, then sprinkle cinnamon.
Using a spatula, scoop melted marshmallow mixture over popcorn and candy, and blend well.
Spray hands with nonstick cooking spray, and roll mixture into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place them on the lined cookie tray to set.
Yields 24-30 popcorn balls depending on actual size.
