Watermelon Smoothie

Watermelon smoothie

The consistency of this smoothie is thinner than some, but it's still a cool, refreshing way to consume a healthy dose of fruit and yogurt.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 10 minutes

Yield: 4-6 servings


  • 3 cups watermelon chunks
  • 1 small banana, chopped
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 1/2 cups 0% fat Greek-style vanilla yogurt (eg, Oikos or Trader Joe's)


Simply place watermelon chunks, chopped banana, ice and yogurt in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into four large glasses or six small ones.

Very good and refreshing on a hot day,116 in the shade so far. The only change I made I added some Nutiva coconut oil. (I'll put some Myers in it later!)
