Pork for Thanksgiving
It’s only a short time before Thanksgiving, commonly nicknamed turkey day. But what if you’re not a big fan of turkey? As sacrilegious as it may sound, there are plenty of people who can’t stand turkey. So what else can you serve to fit in with a low-fat Thanksgiving? There’s roast chicken, of course, but how about a nice herbed pork tenderloin or a pork tenderloin with cranberry-pomegranate sauce? With pork tenderloin now as lean as chicken breast, this would be a great low-fat option for those who don’t care for turkey. And the nice thing about pork—apart from how relatively quick it is to cook—is that all the Thanksgiving sides, like sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and stuffing, go with it perfectly.
