Spicy Ground Beef

Friday May 18, 2007
Eating beef once in a while is fine, especially if you choose organic lean or extra-lean beef. And if at all possible, choose grass-fed beef, which is naturally lower in saturated fat. Lean beef is an excellent source of protein, essential B vitamins and important minerals such as zinc and iron.

This spicy ground beef uses extra-lean ground beef, and is flavored with Madras curry powder, or garam masala if you have it. Add a touch of creaminess by stirring in some low-fat sour cream. Delicious.
