If your idea of a balanced meal is a plate filled with a large piece of meat surrounded by some kind of vegetable and a big helping of potatoes, you should think again. The New American Plate Cookbook is an extension of the American Institute for Cancer Research's New American Plate campaign, devised to help us think differently about what and how much we should put on our plates.
